During individual treatment sessions we will spend time exploring your thoughts, emotions and behaviours to develop a shared understanding of your mental health problem. We will explore any unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviours that may be affecting how you are feeling, hindering your growth and keeping you stuck in vicious cycles.
Using evidence-based NICE guidelines we will develop an individualised treatment plan to suit your own individual needs. Working collaboratively together in therapy over weekly or fortnightly sessions we will look at ways to modify those unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviours and help you to break out of your vicious cycles.
During therapy you will learn ways to manage your own mental health, building self-confidence and resilience along the way. By the end of treatment you will have developed the skills to gain control of your thoughts and behaviours and learnt how to implement healthier coping strategies for improved wellbeing,

Our bite sized pick and mix sessions provide easily accessible short courses to help you build effective coping skills to improve and maintain your wellbeing.
All courses are provided on a one to one basis therefore the coping skills you develop are personalised and tailored to meet your own individual needs..

Initial CBT Assessment
During your Initial CBT Assessment we will spend time exploring what brought you to therapy. This will include exploring what your main current mental health difficulties are, how they affect you and how these impact on your daily life. We will also explore and set meaningful, achievable goals that you want to work on during therapy.
