About Peakland Therapy
Meet Our Founder and Lead Therapist
Hello and a warm welcome to Peakland Therapy! I’m Jeanette Groombridge, the founder and Lead Therapist here.
I’m a Mental Health Nurse and CBT Therapist by background and have been supporting people with mental health difficulties for well over 20 years. I'm passionate about helping people overcome life's challenges and supporting people who are struggling with their mental health to improve their overall wellbeing.
Are you finding life challenging, difficult or stressful? Are you struggling with anxiety, feeling worried, depressed or emotionally overwhelmed?
You are not alone. Therapy can help.
It can be hard to know where to turn for help, however I am here to offer you the support you need to overcome any mental health difficulties you may be facing.
Whether you're feeling anxious, low or overwhelmed, CBT can help you gain control over unhelpful patterns of thoughts and behaviours. Therapy can help you break free from those vicious cycles that are keeping you stuck and hindering your personal growth, and emotional wellbeing.
Therapy can help you to explore your thoughts, emotions and behaviours and help you develop long lasting, healthier and more effective coping strategies. Together we can work to help you build self-confidence, resilience and improve your quality of life across areas of life such as relationships, work, home, family, social activities, hobbies and health.
If you are struggling with life and feeling emotionally frazzIed Peakland Therapy can offer you a safe, confidential, non-judgemental, space for you to talk through your difficulties. If you are looking for a listening ear, empathy, compassion and hope for the future you have come to the right place.
We offer online and telephone sessions to make therapy easy, accessible and comfortable. Feel free to reach out anytime to begin your journey toward emotional wellbeing and we can take the first step on your wellbeing journey together.

All therapists have the inherent drive to reach in and help turn on the shining brilliance of each person with whom we work
